In the late 70's as huge wrestling fans... my buddy Rob and I were at the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York for an Evening of Professional Wrestling...

Now we had gone to many events and met many of the wrestlers... Most of them being great guys weather they were good or Bad guys and we never had a problem going up to shake their hands or get an autograph.

Until The Wild Samoans came to the ring... I am telling you these guys scared the hell out of me... which was the Idea.. Nobody went near them and In the ring, I can not remember who they fought but I remember they Beat The Daylights out of their opponents...

These 2 , Afa and Sika were the beginning of a wrestling family that to this day are making an impact around the world. Their family members include , The High Chief Peter Miavia, Yokozuna, Umaga, Rakishi, The Samoan Swat Team, Haku, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Nia Jax, Roman Reigns and many other current wrestlers.

They were Brothers and they Both passed away about a 45 days apart from one another with Afa passing away today.

Thank you to these two Wild Superstars for giving this wrestling fan many years of pleasure and excitement... and knowing how to scare the hell out of a young man with just a stare.
