I am a Big Fan of Rick Derringer. From the McCoys , to Edgar Winter, Meat Loaf, Cyndi Lauper, And Many More including the Theme song for Hulk Hogan, “Real American”
I had only 1 chance to see him live, he was set to open for Van Halen at the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York when the show got cancelled.
He and his band made famous the song that went on to be the Unofficial Song of the Ohio State University Marching Band “ Hang On Sloopy” at age 17.
Thank You for the Music that will be part of the soundtrack to my life.
