During the Summer of 1984 I went to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, New York to see the Beach Boys.

Before the show out walking across the stage was Brian Wilson, The Mastermind behind the Beach Boys ground breaking album "Pet Sounds".

Now I expected to see a nostalgia act, and what I got was this all out Rock and Roll Show that had the Audience up dancing and singing from the opening notes of "Good Vibrations" to the closing notes of "Fun Fun Fun"

That night solidified the Beach Boys as one of my all time favorite rock and roll bands.

Brian Wilson joined his brothers Dennis and Carl in Rock and Roll Heaven today...

But the Beach Boys will Live on as The Official Band of Summer for the rest of my life.
